able to gather: if they are low balling you, what you need to do is present a decent case like you have. then, if they won't come up much, you talk to a lawyer. lawyers do this all the time. have the lawyer give them a call, and the vast majority of the time he can throw a few threats around and get them to come up considerably. this is all out of court, and your payment to the lawyer is minuscule after one or maybe two phone calls. again, i'm not speaking from experience but just what i've read on other threads, other forums.
